We then said our heartfelt goodbyes (a few tears were shed by both parties) and waited for the coaches to arrive- they were running on Ugandan time so were at least an hour late. As we drove away all the Ugandans lined up next to the bus, dancing and singing whilst they waved us off. We had a quick stop at the equator to buy a few souvenirs and presents for family members and then stopped off at Masaka to meet up with red group, where we ate burgers and chips in a sunny garden in a quiet corner of the town. It was really nice to see all of them and to hear their stories.

We then drove 45 minutes out of Masaka to Kamuzinda where we were welcomed with songs and dancing from the school children (with ages ranging from 4-20) and they even managed to get us involved by dragging us up to dance. We were then shown to our mission houses where we worked out who was sleeping where. Then we ate a meal that consisted of rice, beans, matoki (green bananas), avocado, pineapples and watermelons. Finally we watched a film and then went to bed.
